Readers may recall that, a few days ago, IP Draughts’ published his wish-list for Christmas presents.
Since then, he has received news that makes him optimistic that item 8 on the list, namely “some progress on the project to develop international standards for IP transactions”, will occur during 2019. Hurrah!
And on that subject, a paper that IP Draughts wrote nearly a year ago has now been published. International IP transactions: arguments for developing a UN standard is his 5,000 word article that has become a chapter in a book published in Switzerland, titled Technology Transactions. The book is edited by Professor Jacques de Werra of the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Laws, and published by Schulthess Editions Romandes. It can be purchased here.
