Another set of rankings for IP lawyers

In the post today, our complimentary copy of the latest edition of IAM Licensing 250: The World’s Leading Patent and Technology Licensing Lawyers 2011/12.

IP Draughts regards this independent directory as one of the worthwhile ones, unlike some others.  We are delighted to see the following comments in this year’s edition:

Mark Anderson of [Anderson Law LLP] is commended as an expert licensing practitioner whose work “is of a rare high quality”.  Attesting to his “great commercial angle on licensing”, he has longstanding experience of handling a range of IP and IT agreements; he is also particularly renowned for advising universities on commercial licensing strategies.  Recent clients have included NexGenix Pharmaceuticals and the University of Copenhagen.  Anderson also gains the respect of his peers for his publications and lectures on licensing, and has been called on by the European Patent Office to provide various training materials on the subject.

Among many respected colleagues, IP Draughts is delighted to see his friend and former colleague Matthew Warren in this year’s rankings.  Quieter than some of his colleagues at Bristows, he has sometimes been overlooked by the directories, which is wrong as he is an excellent and experienced IP licensing practitioner.
